"So it's come to this."
Alfred's voice sounded regretful as he gazed at a reflection-like image of himself. There were a few differences: This one didn't have that stubborn hair sticking up and wore glasses. But the same fiery glare and arrogant stance taunted him. He envisioned himself years ago, standing just like that, holding a loaded musket at another. This reflection of himself was just waiting to pounce, every muscle taut down to his anger-flooded face.
"It has. And it's your fault." the boy replied, voice tinged with that strange Southern accent. Alfred cringed at the words, so like his own blaming his 'brother' for the disagreement
